Nonionic hydrophobically-modified high-shear polyurethane leveling agent — 2020 alternative for textile, resin, coating, ink and emulsion systems with excellent flow, leveling, gloss and high-shear viscosity.
Rheology
YT-255D is a nonionic, hydrophobically-modified high-shear polyurethane leveling agent (HEUR). It imparts excellent flow, leveling, gloss development, film formation and high-shear viscosity to waterborne systems. Tin-free and toluene-free, it is an eco-friendly rheology modifier suitable as a drop-in alternative to 2020. It performs well in textile finishing, resin systems, coatings, printing inks and emulsions, as well as waterborne coatings on plastic, metal, glass, wood and rubber, latex paints, industrial coatings, adhesives and petrochemical water-treatment systems.
Store at 5–30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place; shelf life 12 months. Avoid freezing and direct light.
